Philipponnat Mareul-sur-Ay 2014

From the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and the multi-century-old terroirs of the House. The parcels assembled are those of Valofroy and Dessus des Goisses. The first press of grapes is made exclusively from Premiers Crus. It is aged for at least 7 years in the cellars of the winery in order to obtain the greatest complexity and to bring out the secondary and tertiary aromas of the wine, marks of a prolonged aging on the lees in the bottle. The vinification is done in the traditional way, avoiding any premature oxidation. Malolactic fermentation is partial for wines in vats and not carried out for wines made in oak barrels.
